Create Azure Virtual Machine with Static IP Address (Public & Local)

1: goto http://portal.azure.com
2: Login to azure portal

3: click on new on left top and select compute and windows server 2012 and click on create

4: Enter your host name which will be the machine name or computer name in easy word, you username for windows and password you will use to login to windows server 2012

5: Scroll down and go to pricing tear. it will show the available virtual machine hardware. from top of the windows select show all. and select machine according to your need. The prices are approximate according to the use of machine all time for a month. It charge how much you use the machine. for more details goto http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/virtual-machines/

6: After selecting the virtual machine select your location where you want to create the virtual machine. select the nearest location for less latency.

7: Go to Os configuratin and select your time zone etc

8: To reserve static IP go to network and name the network and enter google dns

9: goto domain name and select a good domain name

10: Now its time to give your azure virtual machine static public and local ip address

11: make virtual address assignment reserved. dont worry we will reserved ip in next step. you can use that reserved ip untill you dont delete it from netwroks.

12: click on reserved ip address not configure and on next name your reservation and click ok

13: Instance ip address should be off and make private ip address static and give it local ip address and click ok

14: ok the network portion

15: it will lead to optional configurations. make it ok and click on create as in next screen

16: your virtual machine with windows server 2012 is ready with static public ip and local address. You can see it creating
